« Return to Norm Dicks, the next likely Chairman of the House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee

Norm Dicks and American workers

Norm Dicks has voted for virtually every free trade agreement that any administration, Democrat or Republican has come up with. He voted for the fast track authorization for George H. W. Bush resulting in the export of millions of high paid american jobs in name of free trade.
Count on Norm to bring home the bacon for local governments but get rid of your decent paying job. He supported lowering trade barriers protecting American workers and permitting foreign sweatshop labor to "compete" with higher paid workers. The results are all too obvious now - a destroyed economy, a lower standard of living for workers in all countries involved. Thanks Norm.
