House Amendment Coming to Strip F-22 Funds

Travis | Jun 22, 2009 | there are 0 comments 0

Over at Mother Jones, Rachel Morris reports that Rep. Barney Frank plans to introduce an amendment to the fiscal year 2010 Defense Authorization bill that would remove the unrequested F-22 funds that the House Armed Services Committee added last week.

With the bill expected to be on the floor Wednesday and/or Thursday, there ought to be a floor debate and vote on Frank's amendment one of those days (assuming Rules Committee includes it).

Six Democrats succumbed to NIMBY politics on the F-22 during the Committee vote. How will the whole House fare?
