Iran and North Korea Ready to Rumble…
Travis | Jun 05, 2009 |…in a World Cup qualifier, that is.
Iran and North Korea square off tomorrow at the Kim II-Sung Stadium in Pyongyang. The match is important for both sides. North Korea currently sits second in Group B with 10 points, while Iran sits fourth with 6 points. A draw or win away from home would be huge for Iran, particularly with a tough fixture at Group B leader South Korea coming up on June 17.
No word yet on the status of John Bolton’s head. I assume it will explode soon.
I will root for Iran tomorrow because of a very personal connection...
